World’s Largest Ferris Wheel in the World

Started in 2005 and finished in 2009, the Singapore Flyer is the most impressive of its kind. With a height of 164m, the Singapore Flyer is 5m taller than the Star of Nanchang in China, and 3m taller than the London Eye in the UK. A ride in one of the capsules will cost you around 25 dollars. Despite its popularity, you should be cautious: since its opening the wheel has broken four times; in one case, 173 passengers remained stuck in the cabins for 6 hours.
